One hundred and forty seven apartments, all individually designed to be sustainable and efficient – maximising space and light, and comprising a range of configurations that create flexible living environments for a broad range of residents of all ages.
The Yukon will incorporate Sekisui House’s Universal Design Principles, from the overall plan to the smallest details.
The Style
The natural attributes of the surrounding area have inspired the design and architecture of this master-planned development.
Starting at the mountains, moving through the grasslands, the forest, and then down to the harbour itself, the geographic location became paramount in expressing the building’s architectural form.
Given the importance of the environment to wellbeing, there is a natural synergy with the vision and Sekisui House’s unique philosophy.
This means we’re creating spaces that not only encourage community engagement, they incorporate holistic design principals that provide flexibility and scope for change.
The Address is unique. Our creative vision was drawn from the site’s geographic context. This helped to inform the architectural concept. Essentially we’ve created a sensory expression of urban living.
The interiors are a fusion of light and shade.
Along with rich textures and natural tones, every apartment is a comfortable and tranquil haven.
We chose the finest materials that used Innovation, exceptional quality and design, which provides
residents with the comfort of the Sekisui House promise.
The Grounds
Designed to flow seamlessly from exterior to interior and to draw people out into their surroundings, the diversity of our landscape lends a unique visual quality to the open spaces. Timber boardwalks, natural flowing and outdoor furniture will encourage relaxation.
Spaces will be divided using soft mounded landscaping to create natural fence lines, and discreet screening will allow privacy without obscuring the residences from the landscape.
The integration of mature landscaping into the project also means that the buildings will interact with the landscape from the ground level to the canopy.
The most significant feature of course will be the foreshore park and beautiful outdoor pool, celebrating the waterfront on Homebush Bay and the Parramatta River. The relationship between apartment living and the way it connects with this environment, drawing people out to interact with it and each other, to create their own community. This is what really sets The Address apart.
